Same-Day Delivery Service
At VJG LOGISTICS, we understand that sometimes you need a delivery in a hurry. Our same-day delivery service is designed to pick up parcels and deliver them to their destination as quickly as possible, with no middle steps or warehousing involved.
How it Works:
• Order Deadline: To ensure same-day delivery, orders must be placed by 10:00 AM. This gives us the time needed to plan and coordinate the delivery.
• Pickup Time: After confirming the order, we aim to collect the parcel within 1-2 hours of the request. For orders placed by 10:00 AM, the pickup will occur between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
• Delivery Time: We aim to complete the delivery between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, depending on the distance and traffic conditions. Orders placed before the cut-off time will be delivered the same day.
For Rush Orders:
For urgent deliveries, we recommend placing orders by 9:00 AM to ensure the quickest processing and delivery.
Note: For deliveries to further locations (e.g., Scotland or Cornwall), same-day delivery is typically available for city-to-city routes.
Our goal is to offer a fast, efficient service that gets your parcel from pickup to delivery — on time, every time.
We use Mercedes sprinter vans with the dimensions of 2020mm (2.02 meters) x 6967mm (6.97 meters) and maximum weight 2500 kg (5,500 lbs)
At VJG Logistics, we aim to provide fair and transparent pricing for all deliveries. Here’s how we structure it:
• For local deliveries (from 0 to 10 miles):
The initial charge is £40 for the first 10 miles, with an additional £5 for every extra 5 miles.
• For longer-distance deliveries (e.g., Birmingham, Manchester, Wales, Scotland, or further):
We charge £1.50 per mile for the entire distance. This ensures that we cover the increased travel and operational costs.
Additionally, value-added services (such as special handling or specific requests) may incur extra charges, depending on the job.
Rush Deliveries and Overnight Drives:
If your delivery requires expedited service, such as a rush delivery or a need to drive overnight, the price may adjust accordingly. We’ll provide a tailored quote based on the urgency of the job and any additional factors like timing or special requirements.
